The Hollywood Issue

I typically find the New York Times Magazine to be a little pretentious, but it’s intriguing nonetheless. The most recent online issue has 14 short videos of actors playing out iconic archetypes. The one of James Franco flirting with himself seems to be the one everyone is talking about, but I love the first one of Javier Bardem smashing things to bits, Natalie Portman’s slouch at the end of her piece, and Michael Douglas’s haunted but still powerful disturbing gaze.
